How to use a Wok?
Using a Wok is not only essential in the Asian Cuisine, it is easier and more healty as well. Food is cooked more evenly in a wok and it is less likely to burn. A high degree of heat is essential in stir-frying. I would advise to heat your wok for about a minute before pouring the oil in. A traditional expression in China regarding this is "hot wok, cold oil"
Before frying the meat, ad some garlic and a little bit of ginger to season the oil. Make sure you have all the ingredients prepared in advance as there is no time for it while frying the food.
When stir-frying meat, wait a few seconds before tossing so that it has a chance to brown; when stir-frying vegetables, begin moving them immediately.
In a few minutes you will have a delicious meal prepared for up to four persons.
Enjoy!
